At Seaview Manor we understand and respect the important role that family members and loved ones play in long term care.
Our Quality program incorporates risk management and elements of patient safety with an ongoing promotion of continuous quality improvement.
Licensing at Seaview Manor
In Nova Scotia long term care facilities are licensed by the Department of Health and Wellness. Starting June 2019 the Department of Health and Wellness began sharing each licensing report with the public.
Seaview manor reviews the inspection report to identify any areas of improvement and prioritizes timely corrective actions.
In the spirit of transparency licencing reports are shared at all of our all staff meetings as well as resident and family council meetings.
Resident Satisfaction Survey
Each quarter a randomly selected group of residents and their loved ones are chosen to participate in an anonymous survey. This survey helps Seaview Manor to evaluate the satisfaction of our residents. Some areas of focus for the questions are centered around; Emotional Support, Physical Comfort and Access to Care. All information received in response to these surveys will help to us to evaluate and provide ongoing improvements to the programs and processes at Seaview Manor. Should you be selected to complete the survey please send it back in the prepaid envelope as soon as possible. We greatly appreciate the time it takes for you or your loved one to complete this survey. Below you will find the most recent survey results.
